The egg is undoubtedly a refuge. It is the birthplace of life. It is a miraculous starting point—the first cell, defenseless, within a strong shell, where the visitor can enjoy the miracle of birth.

At the top of the egg, metal debris—plates, old tools, rebar—is suspended on metal ropes. A wind blows above, rocking the metal debris, creating a melodic chime—"The Music of Lake Ontario."
